In his practice, Mr. Menack promotes a non-combative process where both spouses are directly involved in the decision-making. Divorce mediation keeps the lines of communication from becoming permanently separated. This helps reduce the likelihood of costly, counter-productive litigation following divorce as well. As a result, mediation generally is a far more sensible solution for the couple, and especially for any minor children of the marriage, than long, costly, stressful litigation.
