Mr. Menack has been involved in divorce mediation since prior to his graduation from a masters level program at Harvard University in the early 1980s and his graduation from Columbia Law School. He has served as Founding President of both the statewide New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and the National Association of Professional Mediators. Mr. Menack has successfully assisted thousands of divorce mediation clients over his decades of professional practice.
Additionally, Mr. Menack has taught divorce mediation and separation mediation to hundreds of other attorneys, mental health practitioners, financial planners and accountants. This training has assisted other professionals in serving their own clients more economically and efficiently as well.
Mr. Menack has been recognized by Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World. He has also lectured extensively on the subject of divorce mediation and has contributed to numerous legal and other professional publications. He has even appeared as a guest speaker on various regional and national television and radio programs.
Nationally recognized as an accomplished advocate and proponent for the professional practice of mediation, Mr. Menack also is the recipient of a Distinguished Service Award from the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators for his leadership as Founding President of the Association, and for his tireless service in the field of mediation, as well as the recipient of an Award for Outstanding Service to the Bar of the State of New Jersey by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In 2013, Mr. Menack was selected to serve as Chair of the Certification Committee of the nationally acclaimed Academy of Professional Family Mediators, in which capacity he spearheaded the process for developing and promulgating standards for a national professional Certification in divorce and family mediation.
In 2014, Mr. Menack was unanimously selected by his peers to serve as Vice President of the Professional Mediation Board of Standards to lead the field in developing and administering a national competency examination in divorce and family mediation that will result in the implementation and establishment of a national professional Certification in divorce and family mediation for professional divorce and family mediators throughout the United States. In 2015, Mr. Menack also was selected to sit on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM), the national academy of which Mr. Menack is an advanced mediator and founding member.
